Indoors, a Mural, in Sequim

Welcoming to Tarsicios Not all of Sequim's murals decorate the Outside of the buildings. Some are indoors...

We enjoyed many a meal atTarcisio's.

Look for the Tarcisio's sign on the south side of Washington St.

which has some very fine
mural work on the walls,
inside the restaurant.

You get visually transported to Venice,
and as you dine, there's a gondolier passing by your balcony...

Just outside of Tarcisio's you can catch the thrice -daily Olympic Bus Lines van to Seattle. They go to the hospitals downtown, as well as the Greyhound, Amtrack and Seatac terminals. The easy way to fix supper when you return later that day is to get a pizza -to -go on your way home.

Showers, and afterwards, sunshine - the famed Sequim Hole came into play in the evenings,
and there were beautiful sunsets and rainbows, too.

And here in Sequim the roses are blooming. It is time to create a minicalendar of "what" flowers "when":

April: Garden fever gets really going.

tulips are always a favorite here.

Earliest Rhododendrums and azaleas.
Daffodils and tulips- if they were planted in the fall.

May: Gardening in full swing.
Cut that grass!

pansy faces delight in May.

Rhododendrums, azaleas, wisteria.
Delphiniums, lilacs, lillies of the valley.
Trees flower and leaf out.

June: can't let up on the lawns, yet.
Time for early harvest.

Lettuce and Ranunculus provide a harvest of beauty and salad

Flowers: early roses, iris, delphiniums, clematis
In the fields: daisies and poppies, clover
Veggies: lettuce, leafy greens,
rhubarb, radishes,
onions, chives
