Lots of flags flying on our street today ... remembering and honoring those who served this country. |

The City 's hanging baskets are now on their lightpoles and soaking up the summer sun. Businesses pay $100 to sponsor a basket, and the Sequim High School horticulture students build the baskets. The city has a watering truck that runs the water to these thirsty baskets daily. |

The annual Memorial Monday Shepherd's Festival at Carrie Blake Park brought some of
Sequim's livestock into town.
There were sheep shearings, and the working sheep dogs showed their talents; herding, in this brief demo, three lively dark ducks.
A petting corrral featured a yearling llama as well as baby goats and sheep, and in a carrier there were some piglets, too.
A park favorite were these pygmy goats, darling little creatures, 9
days old, about the size of a cat, - they would not grow much larger
than the average housedog.
Sequim has many outdoor artworks- these engaging bronzes are of children playing, the 'leapfrog' statue you will have to see for yourself, as it did not photograph well. - They are located at the Sequim Village Shopping Center by Tootsie's. |
