Sunrise in Sequim this morning

Spectacular sunrise marked this morning.

On the agenda for next week:

Christmas trees and fir wreaths are now available at several places around town - ranging in price from $5 to $30... and more for the truly spectacular ones, I bet.

The season's cut trees are now available at several marketplaces throughout Sequim. There are many varieties to choose from.
It's beginning to look more like Christmas, all the time!

The Salvation Army Bell-ringers are back, some at the same stations they had last year. It is good to see old friends back again.

a follow-up:
That little black kitten which was trying to find a new home back at the Senior Center Bazaar three years ago, had been rescued from under a car by a Friends of Animals volunteer. That tiny little soul endured some very terrifying moments...
Amber (for those amber eyes) was adopted by her fostering family. If anyone is interested in adopting other once-lost-now-found kitties, please call Peninsula Friends of Animals at 360-452-0414 and leave a message. Many thanks to the Sequim Gazette for carrying a photo ad for PFOA every week. These have helped place so many animals in new homes!
Since the County is shrinking animal control due to budget restraints - they will only deal with vicious animals - (everybody is low on Money) - private groups like PFOA and WAGS, and even the CCHS in PA are adoptable animals' greatest hopes. There are 36 well-socialized cats and kittens at the PFOA shelter SafeHaven, and they are all looking for their forever homes this holiday seson. Open your heart and let one in... they will bring much joy to your home. And for dogs, please visit the Pound- the Clallam County Humane Shelter in Port Angeles- these creatures are truly in need.
