Santa will be arriving at the
Bank Square Park on Nov 30th.

Bazaars, plays, and concerts are on the agenda this week:

the remodelled Sequim Senior Center is a large building perfect for bazaars

whew!

Lily and Lucy are two of a dozen PFOA kittens looking for homes

Prospective new-pet -owners need to adopt soon.
Once a month volunteers show the 'Pound's adoptable dogs and cats at Wal-marts and pray for adoptions.
Peninsula Friends of Animals here in Sequim also tries to place the rescued cats and kittens, along with an occasional dog, that get abandoned locally. There are so many. Anyone who wants a new pet should adopt well before the Holidays start, so that the kitten or cat has enough time to come out from under the bed, and those 'Pound pups become family-friendly before the holidays. There will be fewer adoptions as we get closer to the holidays; no one needs stressed pets around. So Adopt Early - get some purrs and snuggles in ahead of time!

Holiday signs

All Sequim's famous hanging baskets have been taken down now for about a month... City crews have put up and wired the lamppost Holiday ornaments this week. The Gazebo is ready for Santa, too. Chamber members have been decorating the Bank Square Park for Santa's arrival on Saturday after Thanksgiving. He's leaving the reindeer at home this week, to rest up for their big trip, and is planning on arriving by motorcycle, escorted by some biking buddies.
