The Fourth of July is one of Summers' focal points - vacations and family reunions are planned around the weekend, since this year the holiday falls on a Thursday. Family day at Carrie Blake Park, with flag raising, and picnics, help create all those wonderful summer memories... |
|

We gather to remember all those who fought for our liberty and freedom, and to remind ourselves to keep the vigil, too.
On Friday...The Sequim Community Picnic
*** - a family-fest gathering at Carrie Blake Park to celebrate the Fourth - ***with games for the kids. Bring along your own picnic basket and join in the fun.
Also at the Park the Sequim Valley Auto Club members will show off their vintage automobiles - all polished up and in tiptop shape.
And a special celebration: two weeks after the Fourth of July is the Sequim Lavender Festival - July 16-17-18.

A neighbor grew this Siberian Blue Poppy in his garden - just an absolutely lovely flower. |
